TransDiscoveries.com has started in 2004 as a site to introduce discoveries,
which were not well known among Japanese audience, from the world.
To start, Panchatantra, which is world well known stories from generation to generation
for years in India to teach moral for kids, was selected.
Why?
Because I lived and worked in Mumbai, India for nearly 2 years.
The experience there was priceless and became a great impact to my life.
Generally speaking, Japan is following after 10 years of the United States.
At the time, a terminology of “BRICs” has just started to be spread out into the Japanese public.
Popular place for job transfer for Indian engineers was USA.
If they were asked to relocate to Japan, he/she often refused such request.
However, in the next 10 years, the business environment has been changed.
Offshoring call center to India, for example, has started coming back to the US.
And the number of Indian engineers was saturated in the US market.
However, they still occupy the significant positions in high tech industry, higher education,
healthcare (medical doctors) and finance fields.
They are part of the U.S.A.
Now, we have a little India in Tokyo and even Indian School has been established.
Because English was not a common language in Japan at the time yet,
certain portion of them in most of project teams quickly master Japanese language.
Global world is rapidly changing without borders.
We as residents in this planet have something to share with other countries/world.
Technologies made the world smaller and accessible to do so.
Internet access allows to provide education to a corner of the isolated place in the earth.
This is the site to introduce the online education, future job trends, professional training,
self actualization, and technologies, for Japan related audience.
Bottom line is that we have to be happy first whatever our environments would be changed,
and make bright future for as many people as possible.
